Moving Pigs Before the Storm!

In this video, we document the process of moving our pigs to a better location before an impending storm hits. With heavy rain on the horizon, we knew that our current pig pen would quickly turn into a mud pit, making it nearly impossible to get the pigs out and harvest them. As responsible farmers, we wanted to ensure the safety and comfort of our animals, so we decided to move them to a stock trailer for the next week.

The video captures the entire process, from coaxing them into the trailer, to settling them into their new temporary home. We made sure to provide them with plenty of fresh straw bedding and ample food and water, so they would be comfortable during their stay.

By anticipating the weather and taking action to protect our animals, we were able to avoid any potential harm or stress to them or us.

Overall, this video provides a glimpse into the daily life of a farmer and the care and attention required to ensure the well-being of our livestock. It is a must-watch for anyone interested in farming, animal care, or the importance of responsible stewardship of our natural resources.
