The lion had been in the savanna for many days now, mating and protecting its territory from outsiders. It was confident and strong, and although it had been many days since its last hunt, it was content in its routine.

The lion had been lying near a tall grass patch, napping in the morning heat, when it suddenly felt a presence. Looking up, it saw a figure peering out from behind a nearby boulder. It was an oddly colored creature that had somehow slipped past the lion’s strong guard.
