The Lower Barn Expansion of 2020 is DONE!

It is time to wrap up this project. The lower barn is all bulked up with a huge 14x20 covered lean too, as well as a somewhat unexpected caged area for the chickens.
We had terrible luck with hawks this summer and lost a bird a day for 2 weeks. this was cutting into our $$ as well as my time so I had to act. Thankfully with all the cull wood we had on hand I was able to make a 20x 14 cage for them to hang out in until the hawks move on. It's a shame as they have a large area to graze, but not right now!
I hope I've given some of you Idea's of how to maximise these steel buildings. They are easy to build, and can be framed with wood or steel. I had to go with wood due to shortages, but I usually build them with the steel beams.
