Dual Band Mobile HAM Radio. The BAOJIE BJ 218 2M/70CM. Part 1: Unboxing and Install.

I picked up this radio to replace my aged Radio Shack MTX-252 2 meter. They are about the same size, have the same output, but the Baojie has 70CM as well as 2 meter, and it comes with a small fan to help cool the unit when talking.

Overall I am pleased. I've got it set to my 2 meter j-pole and was able to hear (But not hit) a repeater. I'm working on the location of the antenna to see if I can improve that.
The radio cost less brand new than the old Radio Shack one cost me used, so it was an easy call to try it out. Here is here I got mine:
