An Introduction GMRS Radio. This Midland series of radios will be a welcome addition to the farm!

For those that don't know, 99% of the radio related videos I make here on the channel are from or about radios that I pickup during the year at flea markets, yard sales, HAMfests, and thrift stores. Due to the global catastrophe, all of these things have been closed for the last 6 months now and I was about out of radios top play with!
On my wife's advice, I reached out to nearly every radio manufacturer to see if they wanted to work with me on future projects and I'm pleased to say that Midland got back to me!
We came up with a nice agreement and I was able to dive head first into the GMRS world of radios for a great price! This video is an introduction to that world, and as the months pass I'll be covering the radios, the installations and the range tests of all of these units.
I'll have the 40 watt setup as a base station, and the 15 watt in the truck so we will have a great setup to do range tests with.
