VW Rabbit Restoration Part 5: It's Done! A Road Trip With The Old Girl Ends Up At A Radio Goldmine!

While no car project is ever really finished, this one is ready for the road. Tagged and titled, the old 1980 VW Pickup is now a sometimes daily driver, and always weekend fun car.
I headed to TN to check out one of the few open flea markets in the area and landed on top of a huge collection of CB and HAM equipment. While I didn't end up buying anything I did end up having a nice conversation with a fellow CB fan, and a fan of the channel.

Guys and gals, Live your dreams! There were a thousand reasons not to buy or build this truck, just like there was a thousand reasons not to move to the mountains to start a homestead, but I did it, and its working great.
