Radio Shack TRC 444 40 Channel CB Radio. A Classic Chrome CB From The Radio Shack Era of CB's

Is it a hidden gem? You'll have to tell me since my bias is unmistakable here.
The mid to late 90's line of Crome Classics from Radio Shack had some interesting radios, with the TRC444 being the little sister of the larger and more expensive TRC-446 and TRC-447. I used mine for at least 5 years, hooked to a 102 steel whip and it served me very well.
So what is your opinion of this later line up?
