There are a lot of reasons people decide to follow one job path or another. For some it's purely money, for others its advancement opportunities, and for others its the chance to eventually run things. Being a mechanic in 2021 allows for all of these things. It's a job that treated me well for the 20 years I did it full time, and has continued to do so for these last 7 as I've done it part time. Without these skills I never would have been able to move here and do the things I do.
