The Radio Shack DX-394 General Coverage Receiver. Is This The Best Shortwave Radio Ever Made?

Thanks to a fan of the channel, I was able to acquire a Radio Shack DX-394. This was Radio Shacks last base type Shortwave, and many consider it to be the best one ever made. The fact that I now own it and have the opportunity to play with it is incredible. I never thought I'd get to hold one of these and so far it's living up to the hype.
While not as impressive looking as my DX-302, it's simplicity when it comes to tuning, and the ability to enter a frequency directly is a certain plus.
