DIY Self Installed Heat Pump A/C System. The Mr. Cool Mini Split. After 18 months, Was It Worth it?

This was one of those purchases that I really wasn't sure was going to be worth it. We live in an area where most days it's fine to just run a fan and keep the windows open, but my wife is getting a little more "Grumpy" as she ages and she prefers the cool breeze of an A/C system in the summer time.
This wasn't an easy unit to install, you do have to have some knowledge of Electrical panels, plumbing, and construction to do it right, but it did have the bonus of being pre-charged and it required no Evac or charge equipment as a result.

So what do I think? Totally worth it! We use it now in the winter months to supplement our wood stove, and the A/C system is whisper quite so we can still talk without having to shout over the noise of a window unit.
