Major Garage renovations part 2: The ground is dug out, and the retaining wall is coming along.

Time for another update on the garage repairs. It's been a LOT more work than anticipated. I wasn't able to save any of the old retaining wall. The cost of concrete was too high to pay someone else, so it looks like I'll be pouring my own pad as well.
