I picked this up a while back at one of the Ham fests I went to. It's a huge step up from the older Radio Shack unit I was using. My old eyes can read the display on this one well, and it's easy to program. These things are not much money and if you live in an area like mine, they still pickup about 90% of the local traffic. Plus they can also be used to monitor 2meter Ham as well.
