My 1.2KW Solar Setup, 1 Year Later. Part 1: Overview, and observations on my big move to off grid.

Hard to believe it's been a year since I flipped the switch on this setup! Man what a journey. Before spending a penny, I thought I'd done my research. I'd spend hours and hours on the web searching for the information I thought I'd need to make a smart setup. I was mostly right, but money constraints led me to cut 2 comers that I wish I hadn't.
Overall I am pleased with the system. There has been a good amount of savings in my monthly bills (As I type on battery power), and the piece of mind knowing that during power outages I am setup to run my entire house at a low power usage rate for days on end without burning any fuel had been great.

Stick around as I do 2 more parts on this during my upgrades to a 1/2 off grid, and 1/2 grid tie setup as well as some reviews of the equipment I bought and used.
