Burning Book Prank

Burning books is a far from novel concept that acts as an essential tool for dictatorships and oppressive regimes the world over. However, this act of censorship is not exclusive to politics in our present climate either - it can be employed as a prank too! The Burning Book Prank can be used by pranksters to produce a terrifying scene through burning seemingly random books. Whilst the book burnings look quite spectacular, they are actually entirely safe and harmless and involve no physical destruction of actual pages but instead uses a combination of gauze, candles, and the power of suggestion to terrify the victim into believing that their beloved books are threatened with destruction.
