Yes | Time and a Word [1970]

Yes released their second album Time and a Word in July of 1970, and very similarly to their debut, the brilliance of Yes is just around the corner.
There is some compositional stretching out on this record, and the songwriting is becoming very strong. The "Yes" sound of Chris Squire's bass style is there. Of course you have the vocal stylings of Jon Anderson - which are always amazing and strikingly unique.

Seemingly they just need Steve Howe to propel them into full Yesdom with their third album - The Yes Album.
But regardless, there is a lot here to enjoy - songs like Then, Astral Traveler, and Sweet Dreams show them off very well, and I look forward to hearing these everytime I listen to this album.

Please let us know what you think of this record! We love comments.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching :)
