God often speaks most clearly in the dark seasons of life- Amen!

In this study of 1 Kings 17 we are going to see a shift from the kings-- the political leaders of the nation of Israel, to the prophets that God sends to the nation. It is in these darkest moments for Israel the Elijah comes to center stage.

Remember: it is not the political leaders or the self-imposed dictators of our world that cause God's plans to be accomplished. They are simply tools in His hand; pawns on His chess board.

It is the Word of God spoken through the prophets and people of God that move the Kingdom of God forward to literally affect every other Kingdom of this world!
