Here's an old video of our first hydroponic rail experiment. Was just coming off of a sickness in this video. This was around 2014.

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using a nutrient-rich water solution instead. This method allows for the precise control of plant nutrition and growing conditions, leading to faster growth and higher yields than traditional soil-based agriculture.

There are several types of hydroponic systems, including deep water culture, nutrient film technique, aeroponics, and others. In a deep water culture system, plants are suspended in a nutrient solution with their roots submerged in the water. In a nutrient film technique system, a thin film of nutrient-rich water is constantly circulated over the roots of the plants. In aeroponics, the roots are misted with a nutrient-rich solution, providing them with both moisture and nutrition.

Hydroponic systems can be set up in various environments, including greenhouses, indoor grow rooms, and even on a smaller scale, in a home or apartment. This method of growing has many advantages, including the ability to grow crops in areas where soil is poor or contaminated, the reduced need for pesticides and herbicides, and the ability to grow crops year-round, regardless of weather conditions.

However, hydroponic systems can also be more expensive and complex to set up and maintain compared to traditional soil-based agriculture. Additionally, hydroponic systems require careful monitoring and management of the nutrient solution to ensure optimal plant growth and health.
