Canada: News conference to celebrate National Kindness Week in Canada – February 15, 2023

Global Dignity Canada hosts a virtual news conference to celebrate the second annual National Kindness Week. Introduced as a private member’s bill (S-223), the Kindness Week Act became law in June 2021, designating the third week of February as National Kindness Week. Taking part in the news conference are MPs Michael Barrett (Leeds–Grenville–Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, Ont.), Emmanuella Lambropoulos (Saint-Laurent, Que.), and Blake Desjarlais (Edmonton Griesbach, Alta.), as well as Jamie Bell (Winnipeg chair of Global Dignity Canada) and Paul Luftenegger (interfaith minister and singer/songwriter).
