Nicola Sturgeon resigns: 'I don't expect violins, but I am a human being'

Nicola Sturgeon has stepped down as the first minister of Scotland, saying that "giving absolutely everything to this job is the only way to do it" but that she's in "danger" of being in the role too long.

She said she was resigning because of a lack of "privacy" and an increase in the "brutality" of life as a politician.
