Al & Jeff chat with Lindsay Jones - COMIC CRUSADERS PODCAST #304

Today Al Mega and Jeff Bracey Meets Tony-Nominated / Marvel-Collaborating Composer and Sound Designer, Lindsay Jones. Recently, Lindsay worked on Marvel Wastelanders, a 10 episode series for Marvel, which is a conclusion of a multi-year, multi-series about all of the beloved heroes in the Marvel Universe and their final battle against Valeria Stark. Lindsay created all the original music for this series, which releases an episode a week through February 6.

Beyond super heroes, Lindsay was a part of the groundbreaking team that created Dinosaur Discoveries, a feature-length film featuring both live action and animation, that uses a brand new cutting-edge holographic cinema technique that projects dinosaurs jumping off the screens and into the laps of the audience. Dinosaur Discoveries is now playing in science museums across the US.

Lindsay additionally has worked in the world of Shakespeare, creating The Winter’s Tale a podcast series for Next Chapter Podcasts that features the classic play by William Shakespeare in an audio drama format. With successful work in multiple genres and mediums, Lindsay is a composer who shines and is one to watch.

Lindsay’s work on the broadway play Slave Play, is notable, and Lindsay was the first person in Broadway to history to receive Tony Award nominations for Best Score and Best Sound Design of a Play. This accolade has placed Lindsay at the top of the composers lists for creatives from across all parts of the entertainment industry.

From Superheroes to Shakespeare, Broadway to Science, Lindsay is a multi-genre talent.
