Massive reconstruction of the last days of the Battle of Stalingrad

More than 500 participants, the best stuntmen in the country, "Mosfilm" pyrotechnics, real tanks and artillery - all recreated the atmosphere of the final days of the Battle of Stalingrad under Volgograd today. They recreated the battlefield, the atmosphere in the headquarters, and the scene of Paulus' capture, just as it was 80 years ago. Grandchildren of those who fought in Stalingrad and the technology that participated in the battles were on the field. 5000 spectators watched from the stands, while others joined online. Our university's film faculty students also participated in the reconstruction's organization and filmed a movie about the battle's culmination, which we will pass on to schools. We have already held seven historical reconstructions, and this time, the "Synergy" corporation and the Russian Society for Knowledge joined us. Our colleagues not only help develop education but also preserve historical memory. We are happy to collaborate!
