For the last few years, as we’ve learned more and more information about Matt Reeves’ The Batman, Midnight’s Edge EIC Andre has remained unconvinced.
To his surprise, he found the movie to be fantastic … up to a certain point. Then it quickly unravelled. Many others feel that way too, so how could a movie that started out so incredibly strong, so suddenly drop the ball so badly in the final inning?

@AndreEinherjar will begin this editorial by first going through any bias he may have had going in, and state what he did like about it, before detailing why it all unraveled so quickly and so badly towards the end.
