Did you know that there is a simple and easy way to remove Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games from the GameCubes Game Boy player attachment? That's right, you don't need to just yank them out of the system, you can Easily Remove Games From the Game Boy Player. Let's take a look.

The Game Boy Player for the GameCube is one of the most popular accessories for the console and for good reason. It adds a library of thousands of games that you can play in addition to the GameCube games themselves. The GameCube sits on top of the Game Boy player, and the games insert into the face of the unit. One thing I rediscovered recently is that I don't have to just yank the cartridges out of the system when I want to play something different.

I found it quite by accident when I was taking my GameCube out of my rack system recently, and my finger fell into the slot on the right-hand side. What was this again? Oh, that's right! It's an eject lever. That's right, the Game Boy Player has a built-in eject mechanism, kind of like what the Famicom had to pop out games. This spring-loaded lever pushes the cartridges out from the bottom of your Game Boy Player, making it easy for you to go ahead and swap out cartridges at your leisure.

What gaming tips and tricks have you rediscovered over the years? What things did you used to do that you forgot about that you now recall? Let me know down in the comments.
