Steatosis - How to get rid of fat in liver?
Hepatic steatosis, popularly known as fatty liver, is a health problem that occurs when liver cells are infiltrated by fat cells. Liver fat is normal, but when this index reaches 5% or more, the condition should be treated as soon as possible. If not treated properly, hepatic steatosis can cause inflammation in the medium and long term that can progress to more severe fatty hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and even liver cancer.
In such cases, the liver not only enlarges, but also acquires a yellowish appearance. Often, transplantation may be the only indication for more critical situations. The condition is reversible with lifestyle changes and a healthier lifestyle with proper medical treatment. Take care of your health, hepatic steatosis is a serious problem that can lead to death.
