In 1954 Roy Acuff and The Smoky Mountain Boys went to WSM's Studio C in Nashville, TN.
Over TEN Days They Recorded Fifty Two Fifteen Minute Radio Shows for Royal Crown Cola
A Major Sponsor of the Grand Ole Opry
The Shows were Pressed onto 16" Acetate Discs One Show Per Side and sent to Radio Stations.
Of 160 Titles They never repeated a Song
Only SEVEN were Commercially Recorded
