Mercedes GLC – Crash Test

The 2022-2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC provided good protection to occupants in the frontal offset and side barrier tests, with adequate protection against whiplash injuries in rear-end collisions. The car's eCall system alerts emergency services in the event of a crash, and the Post-Collision Brake system applies brakes to prevent secondary collisions. Child restraints were properly accommodated and the AEB system responded well to pedestrians and cyclists. However, protection of the chest in the pole test was weak, and the bumper provided poor protection to the pelvis of pedestrians.
