How to Raise Chickens for Meat - Part 1: Getting the Chicks

We are starting a new journey on the farmstead: raising broiler chickens! WE have 104 of Cornish cross chickens which are hybrids bred for meat production. We are going to raise these birds for around 8-10 weeks before slaughter. They are all male birds, because the males will get bigger than the females, and therefore produce more meat.
