Over $255,000 Raised For Radio-A-Thon | Monday, February 13, 2023 | Micah Quinn | Bridge City News

The final numbers are in for the 13th annual Care From the Heart Radio-A-Thon that took place last week. A grand total of over $255,000 was raised for the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation to distribute out to the greatest needs of the Lethbridge hospital. The goal was $250,000 for the initiative.

The funds will go toward medical equipment and training that they would otherwise not be able to afford. Officials with the foundation told us the event was a huge success.

The annual event features local radio stations who chat with doctors, nurses, and admin staff from the hospital to talk about the important work they do on a daily basis.
