1Hz Delta Wave? What are Brainwave Frequencies?

Within our brain and all the energy and activity that occurs with our thoughts, emotions, feeling, and overall states of being. There is communication between neurons inside our brains. Neurons are the cells that join the structures within our brains, and when they communicate in this manner, they start to gather and create electrical impulses, which then begin to become electrical oscillations, or wave patterns within our brain.

This is a process of entrainment where the neurons syncronize vibrationally and harmonize together to generate particular frequencies, which allows them to oscillate as a mass. When sound is conducted or listened to, for long periods of time by a human, it effects the vibration of our neurons and in turn allows the entrainment process to happen, and we tune in to these different frequencies that have certain effects on our whole being.

Eastern and ancient cultures have used and known that sound can alter states of consciousness for many thousands of years, but now, modern western medicine has now measured and identified the frequencies of the brain through the use of electroencephalography (EEG). Which is the recording of electrical activity within the brain with electrode sensors which are place along the human scalp.

These Brainwave Frequencies States discovered are:
-Gamma-30-hz-100hz: Heightened perception and states of consciousness, peak concentration state, bursts of insight or instant Ah-Ha moments, and high-level information processing.
-Beta-13hz-30hz: Awake, normal waking consciousness, active thinking, alertness, problem solving thinking.
-Alpha-8hz-12hz: Physically and mentally relaxed, daydreaming brainstate, heightened imagination, relaxed with eyes closed.
-Theta-4hz-7hz: Deep meditation, feelings of floating, deep sleep, rapid eye movement sleep, meditative intuition and insights and vivid visualisation and dreaming.
-Delta-Up to 4hz: Deep dreamless sleep, loss of body awareness, unconscious states, universal mind/collective unconscious states of being.

It is important to note that our brains produce more then one frequency at a time. We can be thinking about multiple things at once or we can multitask and do different things at the same time, but overall one brainwave frequency will consistently dominate.

By listening to brainwave music 'with intention', we can entrain and spark specific brainwave states. In turn, changing our brainwaves, we can improve our overall state of being to bring more love, harmony, coherence and peace into our experience.

Quality headphones, and listening to both left and right headphone or plugs, ear pieces etc, are required to harness the effect of the binaural effect. For this binaural beat I have set the left side to 100hz and the right 101hz to produce a 3hz binaural. In addition all synths and musical sounds in the music have been tuned to A-432Hz.
