How to be part of the 144,000 in the book of Revelation

In chapter 7 of the book of Revelation, we read about 144,000 servants of God that are commissioned to be His witnesses. This group is specially sealed and protected from the wrath of God being poured out on the Earth during the Great Tribulation.

But who exactly are these people? The Bible has the answer.
