Linux Environment Setup - The first exercise we will perform in this class is setting up a Linux system. We will use VirtualBox to install Linux on a virtual machine. We will also install Linux as a part of a dual boot system alongside Windows.

GitHub Repository Setup - We will cover how to setup a GitHub repository for hosting a coding project. I will show you how to push/pull code via the Linux terminal, as well as how to resolve merge conflicts.

Web Development Project - We will code a MeteorJS app. This project will give you an overview of the Linux development environment.

Server Deployment - We will deploy a LAMP stack to host our Meteor app. We will cover Apache web servers, MySQL databases and the PHP programming language.

These are only a few of the exercises contained within this course. We will be running several commands within the Linux terminal to preform various system and network processes.
