The Wernher von Braun documentary, his role in building V-2 rockets for the war, how the Nazis tried to capture the world in the 1940's and their decision to surrender to America rather than Britain.

Wernher von Braun escaped prosecution as he was deemed too valuable. America wanted the top German scientists blacklisted so they could transport them to the USA. This was known as Operation Paperclip. This was a secret intelligence operation in which 1,600 German scientists and their families were taken from Germany to America.

They absolved of all their crimes for providing their former research and agreeing to work for intelligence.

December 20, 1945, Wernher von Braun arrived in Delaware. He was sent to Fort Bliss between New Mexico and Texas.

He was allowed to go to Germanny to marry his 17 year old cousin, they had 3 children.

He became a pious Christian.

He was moved to Alabama where he helped make ballistic missiles that could carry nuclear weapons. It was called the Redstone Rocket, a descendent from his German V-2 rocket.

He went on to help launch satellites and ended up at NASA. Helped with the Saturn 5 Rocket fueled by Kerosine and liquid Oxygen which helped it reach deep space. This sent Apollo 11 up into deep space. It was the most powerful rocket.

Wernher von Braun research cost what would of been $50 Billion today, back then we actually didn't want America to collapse so after the supposedly Moon Landing funding was cut. Today we send $50 Billion like it's nothing to support the Nazi's in Ukraine.

In 1975 he was awarded a National Medal of Science by the Gerald Ford Administration.

He retired in 1976 as he had kidney cancer. He died at age 65 in 1977 after the cancer spread to his pancreas.
