Daryl Hall, a proponent of "Blue-Eyed Soul," teams up with the O'Jays in this today's Segue City Special along with yet another copy band doing it's take on the Squeeze's "Tempted"... has to be the 1,000th version at least... well anyway, it works and we worked and now it's off to other things and chores... like working up ideas for future segues...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
