Dear Pastor Bob: The Bible teaches that sin cannot enter into God’s presence in Heaven. But obviously, believers do sin. But if it is correct that God cannot let sin into Heaven, wouldn’t that demand sinless perfection from us? Is it possible to repent of each and every sin we commit so we can make it safely to Heaven when we die? Some say that since Jesus told the woman caught in adultery to “go and sin no more,” that we as Christians can attain sinless perfection here on earth. Is that Biblical? And if sin cannot enter into Heaven, then it would seem that no one would enter Heaven because we all sin, even as Christians.  Am I missing something?
