PHOENIX. Death & Rebirth, Fall & Rise. Art works on Self-Transformation.

The "Phoenix," the bird that burns itself down to resurrect from its own ashes.
A story about death and rebirth, about falling and rising, about self-transformation.

In my artworks, I depict the Phoenix as a human being and tell the story of the cycles of death and rebirth that we as humans experience repeatedly throughout our lives and possibly beyond.
The process of transitioning from one stage to the next in which we burn ourselves to ashes and use the very ashes to fuel our transformation of the old self into a new self.
To me, the Phoenix is a major symbol of human self-empowerment.

In this video, I discuss three paintings in which I explored various aspects of the Phoenix subject, and I expand from there into a broader understanding of transformation and why I believe it is so important for us humans, at this time in history, to have the courage to step into the Phoenix process, to let the old self go/die and rebirth ourselves again, and to be able to build a new self and a new world as a result.

Alchemical Artworks & Inner Transformation
Video series with artist lectures on the subject of „Light & Transformation“.

In this series I continue with the exploration of the dynamics between light and darkness, by focusing on our own inner light, as fire or life force.
Throughout this series I will present you a selection of my art works that you can use as "metaphysical tools" to perceive, explore and expand your own inner fire, which is the source of both, your creative and destructive power, a transformative energy that you can use to create and to destroy yourself or the world around you. This is why it is so critical to become conscious of your inner fire and use it wisely.

It is through the art works that I’m presenting in these videos, that I myself embarked on the journey of exploration of my inner fire and its transformative power of creation and destruction. And in this series I will share with you a selection of art works that address this topic.
