The pride of mankind has grown so strong that even within churches it has become evident in the strife and rebellion that has grown to epidemic proportions with people thinking more highly of themselves than they ought. This has led to much dissension, discord and division in churches everywhere. The apostle Peter gives us insight as to how peace and unity can thrive even as churches and God's redeemed sheep suffer under extreme trials and troubling times.
