In order to truly 'know' someone you have to get to know them. You have to learn about them and the best way to do that is to actually spend time with them and learn from them. And the way you do that is by relating to them and learning as much as possible about them as you can. It is amazing how much you can learn about people and actually know who they really are if you do this and that is how we should be with God.
