Mike Smith shares a never before seen footage of new memory of experience with the Nordics

I unearthed an 2015 PR piece I'd had done for AMMACH before it was closed, which featured Mike Smith whose story is told in the book '44 - Based on an ex-soldier's true story of life long encounters involving alien abduction...' in which he features, and is seen on skype, as he recounts part of a new memory that surfaced about a detail of when he was invited to go aboard the craft of a family of what he calls 'the Nords.' This event occurred around 1959/60 when Mike was 9 or 10yo.Show more

In a recent conversation with Mike, and telling him about this piece, he has now agreed to be identified with the name he goes by and his image, which is wonderful because I have a lot of footage unused because he was concerned for the safety of his son. However, with some water under the bridge by about 7 years, he feels more secure.

Mike has also been very poorly and looks quite different now to how he is on the film, as he's had another set of strokes and heart attacks, and latterly has kidney issues, which mean he's lost a lot of weight, and that the love of his life - his guitar, is no longer able to be played, due to loss of movement in his arm. But, never one to allow things to get him down in the end, he is going to do a podcast with me, the first for a while and is looking forward to that.
