Check out this new video giving a quick demonstration of 3 grams digital scales app weighing accurately a Uk £2 coin. The official weight of the coin is 12 grams.

The app was calibrated using the same coin. We then used that calibration and the same balance setup (on top of a plastic lid) to reweigh the coin and it was almost 12 grams!

So does the gram scale app work? Yes if used and calibrated correctly.

We also show the new fullscreen scale display. This allows you to position the phone on its side and see the weight reading in large font, which can be handy or just preferred when weighing objects.
