Civil Liberties In Canada with Bruce Pardy

Are Canada's courts committed to upholding the Constitutional rights and freedoms of individual Canadians, or, has the focus shifted to group rights?

What is the managerial state, and how is it operating in Canada?

Do the courts, and society in general, treat movements on the "left" with the same standards as those on the "right"?

Why does any of this matter?

My guest on this program, Bruce Pardy, is one of the voices in our nation tackling these questions head-on.
He currently serves as the Executive Director of Rights Probe whose mandate is to research and explain Canada's shifting legal ground and challenge these trends.
Bruce Pardy has taught at law schools in Canada, the United States, and New Zealand. Mainstream news media, such as the National Post and Financial Post, have also recently published his work.

Thanks for joining us.
