The Recommendation Engine of TikTok works so well, that the extreme exposure to repetitive types of content is turning into a serious problem. The majority of its users are between 10-19 years old and female. This audience is very influenceable and with a lack of support at home and from medical institutions for underlying medical conditions, they are very susceptible to take paths that lead to regret and to more severe mental disorders.
