Swimming with a Sea Turtle in Kaanapali, Hawaii [February 2023]

Aloha! While snorkeling off a beach near Black Rock in Kaanapali Hawaii I had an amazing encounter with this sea turtle. It seems I found the turtle as it was cruising the reef along a cliff in search of food. I follow along as the turtle swims in to shore and catches some floating vegetation for dinner! This turtle was very social, while not included here I watched him swim up to several people to receive a pat on the head. While I did my best to maintain a respectable distance I was amazed at its boldness to swim right up to me several times. They are curious creatures, one of many that call our oceans home.
