Thunder Force IV | Lightening Force | Shoot The Core-cast Episode 008 | GBG

This is Episode 008 of Shoot the Core-cast! This time around, MetalFRO and Addicted discuss, at length, the 16-bit powerhouse shmup Thunder Force IV, aka Lightening Force! Does MetalFRO's favorite shooter of all time still hold up? What are the differences between the different versions? And what's with the "lightening" anyway? This compiles footage I've been capturing for a while, and you get not only my previous no-miss of Lightening Force that I posted, but a bonus 1CC of Thunder Force IV on Normal, and footage of MOST of the game with the FIRE-LEO 03 STYX ship from Thunder Force III, thanks to M2 implementing that feature in the Sega Ages release of the game on Nintendo Switch, which mirrored what Techno Soft did with the version of the game that appears on the Sega Saturn release Thunder Force Gold Pack II. I hope you enjoy it!
