Ben Shapiro,
Joe Biden's 2024 run is predicated on two lies,
first, that the economy is thriving thanks to him,
which means we need endless spending;
and second, that Republicans are about
to take away your Social Security and Medicare.
He's lying about both.
The economy is on a razor's edge right now,
and continued strength in the employment markets means
more increases in the interest rates.
The future is likely stagnation.
Meanwhile, sadly because Medicare
and Social Security are both in trouble
nobody is going to do anything about the entitlements.
They're a dead letter until we hit actual crisis point.
It's not a dumb strategy.
But Biden has a couple problems on his hands:
first, his own incompetence and corruption;
second, the woke wing of the Democratic Party
will continue to require rhetorical sacrifices
in the name of radicalism,
driving away rust-belt blue collar voters.
