How Do We Judge Prophecy? (1 Corinthians 14:29)

In 1 Corinthians 14:29, Paul says that we're to let the prophets speak and let others judge. The question is in the how. In light of what's happening in the prophetic community, I felt that it would be a good idea to share my thoughts on this invaluable verse that is so often abused. I'll give you a hint. It's not what some would think.
