As JTolan Media1 says, "this is simply incredible." I have filmed Destin and Miramar Beach from Panama before, but never saw the Jetty Marker until sunset on a much cooler winter day. I filmed the sunset twice and both times the jetty became visible. I'd have to check the files to see the exact dates, but I believe it was December 22nd and 23rd. I will update this when I find out.
Summary of footage:
Elevation = approximately 80 feet above sea level.
Distance to Jetty from resort = 40.5 miles.
Total hidden = 582 feet.
After uploading this video, I received an email from a fellow truther from FECORE who pointed out that the angle of the line on google earth didn't line up with the dock they way it should have to be the Jetty marker. I have gone back to google earth to see where lining this us will bring you and there are no other towers are markers in that area. When I adjust the line near the resort, it matches, but I have to move it closer to the docks. It could be an issue with google earth, but I'm still investigating to see why this is happening as I do believe we're seeing the Destin jetty Marker.
