FBI Targeting Catholics

August of 2022, The Atlantic did a piece on "How The Rosary Became and Extremist Symbol." After public pressure, the hit piece on Catholics was renamed "How Extremist Gun Culture Is Trying to Co-Opt the Rosary. The Editor of The Atlantic, Jeffrey Goldberg, seems not to have commented. The author of the article is named, Daniel Panneton. Mr. Panneton resides in Canada. This appears to be the only article he's written for the Atlantic, so why would Goldberg leave it up unless he shares the same hostile views of Catholics?

Panneton accuses Catholics of "violently defending one's family and church from marauders." Things like, Pro Life Advocacy are considered Far-Right extremism by the author.

The FBI will often use journalism as a reason for investigation, as we've seen repeatedly with Left Wing Media hit pieces during the Trump Administration, which were accusing Trump of being a Russian Asset.
