Found GEODE AGATE in 100+ LB Host Rock! Unexpected Find while Rockhounding Lake Superior

While rockhounding the North Shore of Lake Superior for rocks and minerals, we find an unexpected treasure on one of the two beaches we are exploring. We find an amazing Lake Superior geode agate stuck in a 100+ LB chunk of host rock!! I carried the entire geode agate in host rock back to the car and hauled it home! I am excited to say the adventure doesn't end there.. we will be using a hammer and chisel to break out the geode.. or make a display piece. Let me know what you think we should do! Rockhounding the North Shore of Lake Superior is hands down my favorite place to explore. These adventures are so fun and finding all these rocks and minerals from Minnesota is such a treat.
