Indonesian Volcano Erupts, Lava Flows Force Evacuation

Karangetang Volcano has erupted on the Indonesian island of Siau causing hot lava to gush down six rivers and forcing residents of nearby villages to evacuate.

Since 1675, more than 40 eruptions of Karangetang have been recorded.
