I've never hooked into a Steelhead in this run before and had fished this spots many times over the years but have always come out empty handed for some reason. This time I did a couple drifts and on the second, float went down so I pulled back to set the hook. Was it a snag? Did I get hung up on bottom, or was it a fish? I wasn't sure, so I did a follow up drift. The float sank, I set the hook and connected with this Steelhead!
